Bursts of laughter, ideas fuse, shapes and color take place, a creative flair escapes their conspirational glances. Impassioned, the three Moretti sisters are related by blood, but also, and above all by their “esprit”.
A family story in the Italian kind. The grandfather, Giuseppe Amato, producer of seminal Italian movies, among which La Dolce Vita, lived transported in the aesthetics of art and cinematography. Alessandro, the father, scriptwriter and actor, followed his steps and immersed himself completely in the artistic life, giving free rein to the need of creative expression, of the mother, Renata, whose particular interest is interior design.
Delfina, Mirta and Manola, have each chosen different careers but are joined in their perception of creation in contemporary design. They are full of joy for life, and this strong sentiment, is the vehicle for the ideas they bring into form. A pure line, a translucent material; plexiglas allows the objects, the colors, the paint, to vibrate, offering a high-end original composition.
Delfina, who is a lawyer specialized in International law, creates, structures, and suggests: “ being creative is an evasion which allows me to escape from the routine, it arouses curosity”.
Mirta is an architect. She creates, defines, and traces : “ creating is my freedom, the possibility to live without being influenced, the liberty in choosing materials, the functioning of mechanisms which take place in everyday life”.
Manola a painter, creates, perceives, and applies : “Komodo is a tie between art and the shapes that surround us. Each piece is unique, Komodo makes functional art objects, it’s not the object that reveals art, but art that reveals the object”.
Komodo, a visionary and intuitive design, in which each object echos in our daily life.
“Being creative is an evasion which allows me to escape from the routine, it arouses curosity”
